Upcoming Conference: For Presenters

Oral Presentation Instructions

The University of Tokyo will provide a computer from which all UMI presentations will be shown (switching computers will not be allowed). PowerPoint files must be readable in Windows XP (Vista and Macintosh formatted files are not acceptable).

Please provide a CD or thumb drive with the filename identified with the main author or speaker’s last name (preferred format: UMI2007_Oral_Lastname.ppt) at the Opening Reception on Tuesday, October 15 so that we may download the files in the proper order of the UMI presentations.

Note: As a courtesy to UMI contributors, PowerPoint presentations will not be duplicated or distributed unless permitted in writing by the main author or speaker.

Notify the Conference Coordinator if you intend to use an overhead projector instead of making a PowerPoint presentation, and please ensure that your transparencies are of the highest quality.

A wooden poster board (120 cm high and 180 cm wide) will be provided for each poster. Pins and sticky tape will be provided for your convenience.
